Since the inception of the business, we’ve always dreamed big dreams, with a vision for Israel Smith Photographers much larger than the reality would have us believe.
A few years back we began working with an amazing pair of gentlemen who shared our vision, and helped us shape it into a reality. They designed a logo, look, and philosophy to carry us forward into the future.
Starting with the basics, we wanted to explore what made us tick. Why do we do the work that we do? There are three simple answers to that question:
1. We love the work that we do – photographing portraits and weddings is an honour and a privilege and we love the magic of the photography we create.
2. We love the people we meet – our clients become our friends, and we feel very lucky to share special moments with them.
3. We love the lifestyle that this work affords us – five minutes from the beach, we are able to stop and enjoy our life and our daughter when it suits us.
In short, no other career could give us this relationship with our clients, nor the sense of pride and satisfaction when we create such exceptional work.

I love receiving your newsletters and I am happy I have taken the time, even at 11.30pm at night, to look over your website and come across “Your Story”.
I absolutely love your brand and your philosophy on life. Thanks for your comment – we’re still so proud of our brand, our story and our philosophy even though it’s 3 years since we launched it! Our designers (http://www.coastdesign.com.au) did an amazing job and really drew all the important bits out of us to create a lasting mark.
As for you and your family vision, WOW! Bel & I are so moved that you’ve been inspired to get your family vision tweaked just from reading our story! Thanks for sharing that, and believe me when I say that despite some bumps along the road, the journey for us so far has been absolutely amazing, and we wouldn’t change a thing!
