Salty Lemon Gargle
1) Combine the juice of half a lemon with one tablespoon salt in 1/2 cup warm water

Speaking from experience, here is a tip for kitchen disasters like when you let potatoes or rice boil dry and your saucepan ends up blackened on the bottom.
Open windows & spray orange/citrus air freshner – aim: reduce the smell before anyone notices!

My Mother In Law Sue shared this little pearl of wisdom after going bush and sitting down where she got bitten in very uncomfortable and private places by bull ants.
Being she learnt the hard way, she thought she should share this tip with others – Don’t wear lace underwear in the bush.

This remedy is amazing. We used it for our family every year. It’s from a favourite book called “Gentle Healing For Baby & Child”.
Seep thyme in cup of water & then discard the thyme to keep the liquid.
Mix half a cup of the mixture with half a cup of honey.
Shake until mixed really well.
