Help raise $50,000 for Sydney Children’s Hospital!

‘Our Family’ is an exciting fund raising initiative for Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
We are publishing a book of beautiful family photographs and heart-felt words about family.

Participating families will be professionally photographed by the Israel Smith team, and your chosen image will appear in the book. Your own words about “What does family mean to you?” will also be printed with your family portrait, creating a wonderful publication all about family, and why it’s so important to us!

Your family will be immortalised in the pages of this book, along with some great celebrities who also support Sydney Children’s Hospital. What a fantastic gift to give your children!

We’re aiming to raise $50,000 for the Hospital. Here’s why.

We are the Official Photographers and a Bronze Partner of Sydney Children’s Hospital, and are committed to doing everything we can to help. Whether you’ve personally used the Hospital or not, any of us may need Sydney Children’s Hospital to care for our children in the future, making this such a great cause.

Here’s a few examples of what we could do for the Hospital:

• $25,000 could fund two brain-injury rehabilitation camps for one year
• $30,000 could fund a research study in the Epilepsy Service
• $40,000 could fund a Play or Music Therapist for one year
• $50,000 could fund a part-time Fellowship Position, providing specialist medical training

We need your help to reach our target, so get your family and friends involved!

ALL ‘Our Family’ session fees and proceeds from book sales go to Sydney Children’s Hospital.

How much does it cost to participate?

Your registration includes a 1-hour portrait session, and costs only $50 per family for a Standard Page, or $125 per family for a Designer Page in the book.

A Standard Page means your family portrait will appear on a shared page with 2 other families.
A Designer Page means your family portrait will be featured across an entire page. See below for examples.

What happens after I register?

Once you register you will be contacted within a week to arrange payment and book your portrait session.

At your shoot, your photographer will capture a wide range of shots in colour and black&white. You can bring just your immediate family, or you may also include parents, grandparents, and even your pets!

Being photographed professionally is a special treat, and like most families, you will probably want to order photographs from your portrait session to keep for yourself or give as gifts. We’re happy to show you our different frames, canvases, and other presentation options to help you enjoy your portraits in your own home.

As we are donating our time to photograph your family for this fund-raising initiative, we gratefully appreciate your support in choosing to order additional portraits from your session.

About the Limited Edition book

The ‘Our Family’ Limited Edition Book is a superbly printed & bound publication of your family portraits and stories. The books are individually numbered and the print run is strictly limited to ensure each book is a collector’s item.

The book will be published once all 250 places have been filled. You can save money by pre-ordering your copies of the book when you register for ‘Our Family’.

The RRP of the ‘Our Family’ Limited Edition book is $195. Pre-ordered prices are 1 copy for $155, 2 copies for $300, or 3 copies for $400.

All pre-ordered copies of the book will also be personally signed by Israel Smith as the creative director and principal photographer of Israel Smith Photographers.
