As parents, Belinda & Israel consider the pregnancy portraits they had when expecting their daughter Indrani to be a gift to her – a way of showing how special and important she was even before she was born. Maternity portrait photography is something that can be enjoyed and relished now and in future years by both parents and children alike. Many clients choose to hang the portraits in the nursery so they can regularly see and enjoy the images, as well as giving the baby something beautiful to decorate their room as they grow.

We offer several location options for your photography sessions during pregnancy – our comfortable studio, your own home, or several outdoor locations with the beauty of the natural environment to complement your natural feminine beauty.

Maternity Clothing For Portraits

What you wear for your maternity portraits is up to you – fully clothed, fully nude, or some combination of the two. We are happy to help you remember your pregnancy however you feel most comfortable. If you want some nude or semi-nude portraits of your pregnant tummy and body, we’ll help you feel totally at ease being photographed in what might otherwise be a quite unusual situation for you. If you prefer to stay clothed, we suggest you consider some figure-hugging outfits to accentuate the shape of your tummy and body to help us capture your physical changes during your pregnancy.

Pregnancy Photography In The Studio

Our studio is often chosen for those who prefer a private space for their pregnancy photographs, especially if you would like to capture some nude or semi-nude photographs of the wonderful pregnant female form. It is a discreet, comfortable space, and is well suited to you and your partner capturing some intimate images together. A simple white or black background removes all distractions and gives your pregnancy photographs a simplicity and a unique style.

Pregnancy Portraits In Your Own Home

We also offer pregnancy / maternity photography in the comfort of your own home if you prefer. Your home says a lot about your own personality and is your own sanctuary in which to feel relaxed and at ease. Using the existing décor and walls, as well as the option of a portable background, we can help you create some gorgeous photographs of your pregnancy at home.

Outdoor Locations for Maternity Photographs

Pregnancy is a wonderful, natural process and can take on a whole new dimension in a natural setting such as the beach or in a park. We have many locations we can suggest which offer the beauty of the natural environment, and also have discreet areas away from the general public. This gives you the chance to capture some stunning artworks in natural outdoor locations which complement the natural beauty of you and your pregnant form.
